7/22/2023 0 Comments Frozen 2nd bbirthday partyI invested in a couple of white sparkly floor length tablecloths back in 2018 and I have been surprised at how often we use them for parties. I did my best to keep it very Frozen-esque with things I already owned without being literal and having to buy all new décor that I’d only use one time. I kept everything really simple and re-used a lot of party décor that I already had from past celebrations. Recipe serves 8-10.Milly has been mildly obsessed with Frozen for quite some time and when I asked her what kind of cake she wanted, she was very specific: “blue cake with Anna and Elsa” – so that was that! One Frozen themed party coming right up! We kept the party small – just immediate family – so I didn’t feel a ton of pressure to go all out but I definitely still wanted to honor her requests and make it special for the birthday girl. SO GOOD and perfect for a cold winter day!!! Return soup to pot, add half and half, butter, and cheese.(I use a handheld immersion blender instead of taking potatoes out) Puree just until chunky in blender or food processor fitted with metal blade.Place potatoes, onions, celery, and salt in water to cover in large pot.& JUST LOOK AT HER CHEESY SMILE… I die!!!Ĭopycat Marie Calendars Potato Cheese Soup Recipeġ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese GARNISH: It was such a fun day celebrating Tatum Olivia and the sweetest spirit she brings into our lives! We are so thankful for her + the amazing, sweet, kind, and beautiful girl she is! I love planning parties for my little ones + it makes it extra special when you see their sweet faces light up- makes it totally worth it. They loved it + we loved the easy prep! □ You all know my mother-in-law makes the best (and most beautiful) salads, so she whipped up one, as well! For the kiddos, we stuck with pb & j + pb & honey (one of Tate’s favs), carrot sticks + ranch, pretzel sticks, chocolate kisses, and of course cookies. It’s one of my favorites that my mama makes and is great for a party! I also baked up some yummy rolls and it was the perfect lunch on a snowy day. We kept the food simple and made potato cheese soup for the adults! She was a hit! We kept the party really chill with family and our closest friends and it was just perfect (We are so lucky to have so many family members close by now that we are back in Utah and it makes holidays and parties SO amazing). To keep kiddos entertained, we hired “Princess Anna” from a local company and she was so great! She read stories, sang songs, played games, and made balloon animals for the kids. I had two huge pieces that day, haha- whoops)! They make such a statement!! We also ordered Tatum’s cake from the amazing Sweet Tooth Fairy and it turned out SO beautiful (and it was sooo delicious. A balloon arch and pretty floral arrangement always is the prettiest + easiest decor, IMO. We stuck with the Frozen theme colors and had our invites, signs, and little food labels custom made. My mom has always taught me that you can totally do a cute themed birthday party, without having to do it “cheesy”. We have always loved hosting parties and events together. She was so helpful (I was a little overwhelmed with work and kids and pregnancy at that moment!) and she stepped in and sent me links to things to buy and order and we were all set! We were on the phone one night and I was talking about her party and an hour later we basically had it planned, haha. I started planning the party about a month prior with my mama. She seriously had the best day and I loved watching how happy and excited she was about everything. We had the best time celebrating our sweet angel girl and if you saw my stories, then you know she was in absolute heaven. Today I’m sharing some photos and details from Tatum’s 2nd birthday party.
